The 2007-08 SIMC school year session has now officially ended with an end of the party yesterday, so there are now a few notes in order.

Firstly, a big thank you to all the everyone who has contributed their time, effort, or money to the circle. Next, a thank-you to the Student Leader Group for running the classes and activites. We will be saying good-bye to four of its members (Qiaochu, Andrew C., Richard, and Meir) who will be heading off to college next year. Congratulations to Yuta Kato, who won the award for the highest attendance rate in the Student Leader Group!

Also, please thank Lon-Chan Chu from the Advisory Committee for volunteering to take over coordinating the circle, as Joy will be heading off to Phillips Exeter Academy next year.

During this final class, we will take the chance to say thank you and good-bye to all the departing seniors from the Student Leader Group. Also, we will be running a game-show variation on the Mathematics Association of America's "Who Wants to Be a Mathematician," with prizes awarded to the top finishers.

Please e-mail info@simathcircle.org if you are planning on participating so that we are able to calculate how many questions and prizes to prepare.
